Technical Info
Giclée printing allows the artist to affordably publish prints on an as-needed basis. The startup costs seem large at first, but are due to the high end scanning and printing equipment, as well as the extensive time and color management software involved in giving you the best quality image possible. While other printshops or artists will claim to produce high quality imaging, not every digital print is a giclée print. Only digital prints that are made with specialized equipment such as ours will offer the stability and longevity that has become the standard in giclée printmaking.
All of our prints are produced on various archival materials such as watercolor paper, photographic paper, canvas, poster paper and vinyl. All prints are printed on a Mimaki JV2 and an Epson 9600 using Symphonic archival pigmented inks, which guarantee colorfastness of 150 years. Our professional artist staff uses a superior color management system to ensure that your images are produced to meet our high quality standards.
